Ph.D and M.Sc. studentships in Computational Fluid Mechanics
Applications are now invited for two Ph.D. positions and two Master studentships at King’s Mongkut University Thonburi (KMUTT).
The funding are initially fixed for two years for all positions with possibility of extension. It is expected that the sucessful the candidates will be working on the area of turbulent flow and heat transfer.
Qualifications:
- You have a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or other related field.
- You are self-motivated and strongly interested in numerical simulations..
- Solid Mathematics skills are required including excellent programming capability (preferably Fortran or C/C++).
- The ideal candidates should have experience in numerical methods.
- Knowledge in Finite Element Method or other classes of numerical methods for PDEs are highly desired, but not necessary.
- The candidate should be highly motivated to conduct research and manage a project independently.
- Fluency in English is reqiured.
