France is known for its worldwide position in quality education. There are many good universities in France which welcome international students . The cost of education is also considered low cost as compared to other countries, therefore it is preferred destination for many international students.

 

The list given below contains a number of scholarships which can be applied by international students in France. Various funding bodies like European Union, Nanosciences Foundation and French Ministry of Foreign Education are helping students by providing tuition and living expanses.

 

Scholarship Program: Call for the Master scholarships of the “Mathematics for Life Sciences” (Master2 MathSV) program

Employer: Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Foundation (FMJH)

Level of Study: Master

Scholarship Description: For the project LabeX LMH, the Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Foundation (FMJH) is offering one year scholarships for talented students applying for the master program in Mathematics for Life Sciences (Master2 MathSV) in one of its member institutions (the Departments in Applied Mathematics of the École polytechnique, École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, and Paris Sud University in Orsay).  These scholarships are only for the second year of a Master degree program (M2).

Scholarship Program: HEC-EGIDE/ Eiffel MBA Scholarships for Developing Countries

Scholarship Program: Masters Degree Studies Scholarships for International Students

Scholarship Description: For the project LabEx LMH, the Jacques Hadamard Mathematics Foundation (FMJH) is offering one or two year scholarships for talented students applying to a postdoctoral position in Mathematics for the Life Sciences in one of its member institutions(the Labs in Applied or Pure Mathematics of the École polytechnique, École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, IHÉS and Paris Sud University in Orsay). The salary is up to 24,000 euros per year. Laureates will be asked to give 20 hours/year for tutoring session at graduate’s level. The appointment will be for one or two years beginning on September, 1st 2012.
