ทุนมูลนิธินิปปอนเพื่อปัญญาชนสาธารณะแห่งเอเชีย มุ่งสร้างและส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันในหมู่ปัญญาชนสาธารณะ และเพื่อสนับสนุนการเติบโตของภาคสาธารณะอันจะเพิ่มศักยภาพในการตอบสนองความต้องการของภูมิภาคได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทุนนี้สนับสนุนให้ผู้ที่เป็นและผู้ที่มุ่งหวังจะเป็นปัญญาชนสาธารณะจากทุกสาขาวิชาชีพ ได้ดำเนินโครงการ กิจกรรมและ/หรืองานวิจัยที่สร้างเสริมภูมิปัญญา วัฒนธรรมและสัมพันธ์กับวิชาชีพของผู้สมัครในประเทศภาคี และสอดคล้องกับประเด็นหลักที่กำหนดไว้ 3 Subjects include.

Qualifications of the candidate.
The applicant must have status as a resident in one country in the five countries participating.
(Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.) And must reside in that country during the applicant. Scholarships.
