ฮิตาชิให้ทุนวิจัย ในโครงการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์
The Hitachi Scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for Southeast Asian universities to send faculty members, who wish to continue teaching and research at their universities after graduation, to Japan as part of their human development programs. Recipients of this award are invited to attend Japanese public and private graduate schools that have close relationships with Southeast Asian universities.The Scholarship provides financial support and personal assistance and consultation.
Eligibility for the program is limited to faculty members up to the age of 35 and each applicant must be recommended by a senior staff at their home university as a potential candidate for international research collboration after graduation. Each grantee receives full financial support to study Japanese for six months after arrival. The Foundation funds tour programs every year to visit various locations in the fields of industry, science, technology, research, culture, history, society and nature so that the grantees’ experience and understanding during their stay in Japan will not be limited to one campus.

Arriaval and return allowance : ¥50, 000 each
Stipend ¥180, 000 per month

Tuition and other school expences : At cost
Japanese language course : At cost for 6 months
Expenses for field trips in Japan : Up to ¥50, 000 per year

ทุนของฮิตาชิ เป็นทุนที่เปิดโอกาสให้กับมหาวิทยาลัยต่าง ๆ ในเอเซียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ในการส่งเจ้าหน้าที่ไปศึกษาวิจัยในโครงการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ ที่มหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐหรือเอกชนในประเทศญี่ปุ่น ที่มีความสัมพันธ์ใกล้ชิดกับมหาวิทยาลัยของตน โดยทุนนี้จะช่วยเหลือทางด้านการเงินในการศึกษาวิจัย ค่าใช้จ่ายส่วนตัวต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งการให้การปรึกษา
ทุนของมูลนิธิฮิตาชินี้ จัดขึ้นทุกปี เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้เจ้าหน้าที่จากมหาวิทยาลัยในอาเซียน ได้ไปศึกษาวิจัยยังสถาบันต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสาขา Industry, Science, Technology, Research, Culture, History, Society และ Nature ซึ่งจะทำให้ผู้ศึกษาวิจัย ได้รับประสบการณ์ และมีความรู้ความเข้าใจที่กว่างไกลยิ่งขึ้น ไม่ถูกจำกัดอยู่แค่ในมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งเดียวที่ตนสังกัด
โดยมหาวิทยาลัยที่อยู่ในข่ายสามารถส่งเจ้าหน้าที่สมัครขอทุน ได้แก่ Chulalongkorn University,Chiang Mai University,Khon Kaen University,King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang และ King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi
