International Max Planck Research School for Global Biogeochemical Cycles invites application for fully funded Doctoral Stipends in the field of Atmosphere, Biosphere & Ecosystems, Soils, soil microbiology & soil hydrology, Paleoclimate in Germany. Students must be Master of Science, German ‘Diploma’ or equivalent degree in natural sciences and proficient in English. Handicapped persons and underrepresented women are eligible for apply. Scholarship Description: The IMPRS-gBGC located in Jena, Germany, offers fellowships to outstanding students interested in research on biogeochemical cycles in the Earth system. The school provides excellent research possibilities for students to obtain a PhD degree in a 3-years graduate program.
